Conclusion

As we have seen, differences between motherboards come to the amount of equipment, layout and price. Whether we talk about performance or overclocking capabilities differences are minimal. If we look at things that way, Gigabyte`s H67MA-UD2H is better equipped – it has better cooling, better PWM, Display Port etc. But, at the same time it is 30 € more expensive as it costs 110 € on the European market, while Foxconn`s H67MP-S costs only 80 €. One asks himself, should I go for the pricier MBO? When we look at it that way no, but Gigabyte`s board is on higher technological level and anyone who has a higher budget shouldn’t think twice. On the other hand, if you are limited with money Foxconn`s solid and still well equipped motherboard will be a good choice. You should consider buying both of these boards only if you plan to buy an unlocked Sandy Bridge CPU, otherwise P67 is the platform of choice. Overall, H67 is a better platform that its predecessor, especially with the multimedia, but for now the transition from LGA1156 to LGA1155 is still not worth. On the other hand, if you have older LGA775 platform, LGA1155 will be a great and much needed upgrade.
