Jesensko osvježenje iz Kanade nije donijelo velike tehnološke promjene, no njih nismo ni očekivali.

Conclusion in english

Autumn product refresh from Canadian GPU manufacturer did not bring big technological changes on the market. Reduction of manufacturing process and small improvements of models which we already know very well are things which we expected to happen. Market is currently somewhat sluggish after swift and pretty suprising replacement of Radeon X1800 series with X1900 series. These day DirectX 10 is becoming hotter and hotter topic in hardware enthusiasts community, especially regarding hardware that supports this new API. On the other hand, for users who are aiming for graphics cards from low-end or mainstream market segment, DirectX 10 should not yet receive so much attention.

As we have seen in this article, cheaper graphics cards like Sapphire Radeon X1650 PRO can really offer a nice bang for buck. New finer manufacturing process brought lower power consumption and in the same time, lower noise generated by cooling system. Performance wise this card is pretty good, tackling challenges from all modern gaming titles, of course, if we don’t go overboard with details or resolution. One more good move which we can not forget is bundled game Da Vinci Code, especially if we know that Sapphire is usually pretty selfish company in terms of bundled goodies. All in all, Sapphire Radeon X1650 PRO is a pretty fine card considering its market niche and a fine choice if you are searching for a cheaper card for your autumn computer upgrade.
