Kondenzatori – Loša kvaliteta je problem cijele industrije?

Dobili smo vrlo zanimljiv dopis iz Abit-a, a tiče se kondenzatora, kvalitete istih i utjecaja na industriju hardware-a u cjelini. Evo Quote cijelog dopisa da ja sad tu ne prevodim, ak neko nezna engleski, mejlajte me!

Recently IEEE Spectrum Online wrote an article on the capacitor problem.
The
site IEEE Spectrum Online is a well-respected media. It is a
subsription website, but I have included the main points below:

“So far, the only motherboard maker to admit to the problem is ABIT
Computer
Corp. (Taipei), and the only major PC maker to acknowledge being
affected is
IBM Corp. But the problem is likely to be more widespread. Indeed, those
who
have repaired the damaged boards say that they have encountered crippled
motherboards from Micro-Star International, ASUSTek Computer, Gigabyte
Technology, and others.”

Others have said “Hopefully these companies (MSI, ASUS, Gigabyte) will
buck
the industry trend and follow ABIT’s example. Prompt disclosure and
acknowledgement of a problem will greatly expedite the repair / return
process for all concerned and help both consumers and manufacturers get
back
to business. Mistakes, after all, happen, but people tend to be much
more
forgiving of those who admit them than they who do not.”

All very appreciative that ABIT came forward first with the information
and
angered that the other motherboard makers whose motherboards are
obviously
affected by this problem. Most important for Sales is to make sure that
your distributors and resellers understand that this is not an ABIT
problem.
This is an industry-wide problem. ABIT is the first to admit that there
was
an issue with capacitors and to have action on this issue. The other
motherboard makers are being pressured to admit the same and will be
forced
to have some action to correct their problems.

I mi smo imali raspravu na forumu prije nekoliko mjeseci (poštovani gdin. Pajo se dotakao iste) u kojoj se spominjalo i govorilo o kondenzatorima, proizvodnom procesu i kvaliteti istih. Ak vas to zanima, skok na forum (zgodno je jel je Pajo stavio i link na listu ‘sigurnih’ proizvodjaća.

Zaključak ovog gore bi mogo bit da od sad prvo moramo proučiti od kuda se nabavljaju kondenzatori za dotičnu komponentu, a tek onda gledat performanse, cijenu, izgled, điđe koje dolaze u paketu itd.
