Ostavili smo u par testova i označene performanse NUC 14 Pro računala koje smo nedavno testirali kako bi imali uvid u to koliko je Atom slabiji od punokrvnog desktop procesora. Jasno, za primjenu za koju je namijenjen performanse su sasvim dovoljne.

Bez problema i vrlo glatko pokreće Windowse 11, te može služiti i kao uredsko računalo.

Zagrijavanje

S obzirom na to da je riječ o 12 W procesoru, a k tome treba dodati i SSD, radnu memoriju te ostale kontrolere ovaj se NUC 13 Rugged ni ne zagrijava previše. Nakon dugotrajnog opterećenja i potrošnje “iz zida” od oko 21 W, maksimalna temperatura vanjske površine kućišta, tj. hladnjaka je iznosila 53,4°C. Zanimljivo je da se procesor ne zagrijava puno više od toga i da mu je maksimalna temperatura bila 73°C. Prosječna radna frekvencija pod optećenjem je oko 1,5 GHz, maksimalna 3,4 GHz, a pada performansi nema ni nakon dugotrajnog opterećenja u normalnim radnim uvjetima (temperatura klimatizirane prostorije u kojoj smo testirali je bila oko 26°C).
