Test sistem i način testiranja
Kao što ste već mogli vidjeti i naslutiti, testirali smo na Gigabyteovoj X670E Aorus Pro X ploči i Ryzen 7 7700X procesoru. Osim njega, isprobali smo i kako hladi moćniji 7900X procesor. Procesore smo opteretili Cinebenchovim R23 nT testom u trajanju od 30 minuta, a temperature smo pratili uz pomoć HWinfo64 aplikacije. Naravno, osim temperatura, mjerili smo i performanse oba procesora.

Temperature modernih procesora su kao što znamo visoke jer ih ploče tjeraju do maksimuma (slično kao kod laptopa), pa na ovaj rezultat ne treba ni obraćati pažnju previše. Ipak, postavljamo rezultat samo da vidimo koliki maksimum dozvoljava pod ovim hladnjakom i vidimo da je otprilike na sredini poretka, malo više prema gornjem dijelu.

Buka je vrlo visoka, i bilo bi dobro ograničiti ili u BIOS-u ili fizički s nekim adapterom za usporavanje. Mi najčešće koristimo Noctuin low-noise adapter NA-RC14 koji je iznimno koristan u ovakvim slučajevima. Naravno, tada treba računati i na malo manje performanse.

Vrlo zanimljivo, ali ovaj je hladnjak podbacio u gotovo svim testovima osim u Cinebenchu 23 nT gdje je najbolji. Testove smo ponovili nekoliko puta i rezultat je uvijek bio isti. Stoga smo se i odlučili provjeriti performanse s jačim 7950X procesorom što možete vidjeti u nastavku.

Razlog loših performansi sa slabijim procesorom ostaje veliki misterij, dok kao što vidimo u multithreaded testovima performansi pobjeđuje moćni Alphacoolov Aurora LT360 HPE hladnjak koji stvara još veću buku od njega.
