| Sutra, 1. svibnja AMD slavi svoju 40. godinu postojanja. 1.5.1969. godine Jerry Sanders i sedmorica suosnivača osnovali su kompaniju koja je svakako znatno obilježila IT industriju. Kao dio proslave, AMD će u SAD-u i Kanadi održati niz natjecanja kao znak zahvale svojim kupcima. Kao centralno mjesto za natjecanja i informacije o povijesti AMD-a lansirali su sajt na kojem će uz ostalo zaposlenici i kupci moći ostaviti i svoje zapise i dojmove.
