Ryzen 5 3600X troši jednako kao i Ryzen 7 3700X pa ni ne čudi više zagrijavanje u sljedećem grafu. Očito je malo jače “našpanan” naponom kako bi taktovi bili viši.

Spire se pokazao kao neadekvatan za ovaj procesor jer nakon dugotrajnog opterećenja ne može održavati isti takt kao i Noctuza D15. Zbog visokog je zagrijavanja do čak 90°C dugotrajni boost takt nešto ispod 4.o GHz (3,992.6 MHz), na svim jezgrama dok je kod D15 iznosio 4,091.7 MHz (4.1 GHz). No, zanimljivo je za primijetiti i da R9 procesor nije puno topliji od R5 koji ima čak 6 jezgri manje.
