Način testiranja

Testirali smo jasno na Sapphire Nitro+ B850A WiFi7 matičnoj ploči, a koristili smo G.Skill Trident Z5 Royal F5-6000J2636H16GX2-TR5NS memoriju, AMD Radeon RX 7900XT i ostali već poznati hardver kojeg možete vidjeti u tablici. Procesor je hlađen Noctua D15 G2 hladnjakom. Testovi su kao i do sada uobičajena mješavina između sintetike, CPU benchmarka, AIbenchmarka i grafičkih benchmarka. Iskoristili smo ranije dobivene rezultate i grafove. Kao i do sada, testirali smo i potrošnje te zagrijavanje. Testirali smo na Windows 11 operativnom sustavu s 25H2 nadogradnjom.

Overclocking

S obzirom na to da su neki korisnici otkrili kako 7400F umjesto da je zalemljen za svoj IHS kao jači modeli, zapravo koristi termalnu pastu nismo puno očekivali od overclockinga. Naravno, AMD je štedio na ovom procesoru što je i logično. PBO opcija u BIOS-u Sapphireove ploče nije donijela apsolutno nikakav pomak, dapače, performanse su pale, pa smo pribjegli ručnom overclockingu. Najprije smo podigli frekvenciju procesora na 5.100 MHz, napon na 1,4V pa onda i druge parametre u CPU dijelu Overclock sučelja. To je rezultiralo stabilnim povećanjem takta i njegovim zadržavanjem na 5,1 GHz na svim jezgrama, s čim smo mogli napraviti sva mjerenja. Kolike smo dobitke ostvarili, pogledajte u grafovima!

Zanimljivo, unatoč nešto nižem deklariranom radnom taktu, 7400 je nešto brži u ovom testu od 7500X3D koji je primarno okrenut gamingu.

Ponovno, i u Blenderu je slična situacija i zapravo ovo možemo očekivati i u svim narednim testovima. 7400 je cjenovno niže od 7500X3D a ima i niže taktove.

Transkodiranje je odradio sasvim solidno u usporedbi s nekim starijim modelima procesora, no ovdje ipak vidimo velik zaostatak u odnosu na 7500X3D kojem njegov veliki 3D Cache pomaže u ovom testu.
