Porast performansi overclockingom opada kako idemo od jačeg prema slabijem procesoru što je i logično. 5950X ne boosta nikada sve jezgre na 4,6 GHz u normalnom radu pa je porast izvrstan. 5900X tu i tamo boosta do 4,6 GHz pa je porast vidljiv samo u onim aplikaicjama u kojima se to ne dešava, a 5800X češće boosta do te frekvencije pa je samo u pojedinim benchmarcima vidljiv malo bolji porast. Ako s procesorima radite miješane zadaće kao što je gaming, lagano opterećenje i jače opterećenje tada vam se overclocking ne isplati. U slučaju 5950X-a ako koristite visoko opterećenje tada je isplativo uz naravno dobro hlađenje.

Izvrsne memorijske performanse za 5950X u svim segmentima. 5950X je također solidan ali ni blizu jačem modelu, dok je 5800X podbacio na zapisu. Ipak, svi su podjednako napredovali u vremenu pristupa, no još nisu blizu vremena koje ostvaruju konkurentski procesori. Ipak, dobar korak naprijed.

Potrošnja sistema je mjerena s OCCT-ovim large testom kao i kod ostatka procesora i vidimo da su novi procesori manji (5800X vs. 3800XT i 5950X vs. 3950X) ili jednaki (590oX vs. 3900XT) potrošači kao i stari. Iz testova smo pak vidjeli koliko su brži pa je zaključak jasan – efikasnost im je dodatno povećana.

Maksimalne Tdie temperature su raspoređene tako jer kod najjači procesor ipak ponešto spusti taktove i napon kod opterećenja, dok slabija dva drže viši napon. Ipak, primijetili smo da se jača dva ni u kom slučaju ne zagrijavaju previše, no kod 5800X-a zbog visokih taktova i napona temperatura u pojedinim benchmarcima zna otići i na preko 80°C pod AIO hladnjakom.
