U hardverskoj osnovi ZenBook 14X OLED je vrlo sličan ZenBooku Duo 14 pa ćemo direktno usporediti performanse ta dva prijenosnika. Vidimo da je potonji u PCMarku izvukao mrvicu više performanse, a isto se ponovilo i kod 3DMark testa. Razlike su malene, no Duo očito malo duže može održavati viši nivo performansi.

Zanimljivo, ovdje je procesor i7 1165G postigao čak 18% viši rezultat u 14X OLED-u nego u Duo 14. Zašto se to nije odrazilo na više PCMark performanse, ostaje nepoznanica.

Memorijske performanse su vrlo visoke zahvaljujući brzoj ugrađenoj memoriji, no zanimljivo, tu su negdje sa ZenBook Duo 14, unatoč nazivno bržoj memoriji.

Performanse Samsungovorg PM9A1 diska u ovoj 1TB izvedbi su čak malo više od verzije s 2TB, no i kod jednog i kod drugog su impresivne.

Autonomija nije sjajna, premda je izdržao preko 7 sati. OLED ekran mu ipak ponešto skraćuje izdržljivost, no to je žrtva koju smo spremni podnijeti zbog lijepe slike.
Zagrijavanje, buka i taktovi
Prijenosnik kao što vidimo s gornjih fotografija ni ne buči, ali se ni ne zagrijava previše. Pri tom ostvaruje dosta stabilne performanse i kompaktan dizajn mu svakako nije mana. Procesor se ne zagrijava previše i maksimalna temperatura koju smo izmjerili bila je 95°C, s tim da nema spuštanja takta. Konstatnih 3,5 GHz (34,61 W) je dobra vrijednost pod punim opterećenjem, a kao što vidimo radna površina pri tome ostaje relativno mlaka. OK, na najtoplijem mjestu je 42,6°C, ali ostatak je između 30 i 35°C. Uz to, maksimalna buka od 41,2 dB(A) je sasvim pristojna vrijednost, čujno no ni malo bučno.
