I premda je opremljen s vrlo sličnim hardverom kao i nedavno testirani Inspiron 7386, ovaj prijenosnik ipak ima bolje ukupne performanse i to iz jednostavnog razloga – ima bolje hlađenje.

Ponovno nešto malo više performanse od onih koje je ostvario procesor i integrirana grafika u Inspironu 7386, što je i očekivano. No, HD620 nije namijenjena igranju, a ni ovaj prijenosnik nije te namjene.

U 7-Zipu su performanse i7 8665U procesora identične u Inspironu 7386 i Latitudeu 5500, dok je razlika u sljedeća dva testa ipak veća. Razlog tome je što procesor zahvaljujući boljem rashladnom sistemu može duže održavati više taktove. Valja naglasiti da je prijenosnih pri tome i zadovoljavajuće tih pa se buka ne penje iznad 39 dB(A), a sredina tipkovnice je bila najtoplija točka s temperaturom od 41.3°C prilikom dugotrajnog maksimalnog opterećenja procesora.

Kao i do sada, pratili smo rad procesora na punjaču i na bateriji. Zanimljivo, no u oba je slučaja prosječan trubo takt pod opterećenjem svih osam threadova iznosio 2.6 GHz.

Toshibin BG3 od 512 GB ima solidne performanse, a hlađenje je dobro riješeno pa nema gubitka performansi nakon uzastopnog ponavljanja testova.

Prijenosnik je opremljen baterijom kapaciteta 68 Wh, koja je pri reprodukciji 4K videa izdržala čak 8 sati i 38 minuta – impresivno, Svrha ovoga prijenosnika je da omogući maksimalnu moguću autonomiju poslovnom korisniku i on to upravo i čini. Bez problema će u uredskoj upotrebi, pod laganim opterećenjem izdržati i debelo preko 10 sati.
