Moramo priznati da nas je PCMark8 rezulat poprilično iznenadio (rezultat obojan ljubičasto). Prilikom pokretanja Accelerated varijante dedicirana GTX 960M sjedila je nezaposlena i kompletna testiranja bila su odrađena na Intel HD 530 integriranoj grafičkoj kartici. Tek nakon skidanja upravljačkih programa s nVidia stranice te modificiranja .inf datoteke da prijenosnik “proguta” nove upravljačke programe situacija se promijenila i V17 Nitro je zasjao u punom sjaju (rezultat obojan plavo).

Prvi “pošteni” CPU test i vidimo kako je V17 Nitro zasjao zahvaljujući ugrađenom i7 6700HQ procesoru, tokom testiranja CPU frekvencija kretala se između 3.0 i 3.1 GHz

Ovdje je imamo niži rezultat u odnosu na Haswell i7 perjanice iz puno većih i težih prijenosnika. Glavni razlog je u činjenici da su i7 4810MQ i i7 4860HQ za vrijeme trajanja 7 zip testa koristili Short Turbo Boost gdje se dižu iznad nominalnih 47W TDP-a do 55W i koriste puno više radne taktove odnosno bili zakucani na 3.6 i 3.4GHz dok je i7 6700HQ standardno plesao između 3.0 i 3.1 GHz. Razlika od preko 300 i 500MHz čini znatnu razliku bez obzira na IPC skok koji je donio Skylake.

Nakon nekoliko prijenosnika sa jednokanalnom DDR4 memorijom vidimo što nam donosi Skylake. Velik porast, ali uz cijenu viših latencija. Sa DDR3L 1600MHz memorijom primarno smo se susretali sa CL11 memorijom, a sada, uz DDR4 2133MHz, se radi o CL15.
