Prosječan porast performasi je veći kod RX 5700 koja očito ima nešto više prostora za postizanje viših taktova nego što to ima XT kartica. Kod slabije je porast u prosjeku slabih 5,32 %, a kod jače mizernih 2,34 %.

Ovo je samo manji dio testova koje smo napravili kako bi usporedili perofrmanse na različitim platfromama, a u recenziji novih Ryzena će ih biti više. No, i ovo je dovoljno da se vidi kako Ryzen u tri testa ni malo ne zaostaje za 8700K. Detaljnija analiza ide u članku o procesorima.

Potrošnja RX 5700 XT je dosta viša od RX 5700 za što je razlog veći broj shadera, ali i puno viši taktovi. Ipak, kada se pogleda potrošnja u odnosu na performanse i to usporedi s primjerice Vegom 56 vidi se ogroman napredak za novu arhitekturu i novi proizvodni proces. Potrošnja je za 15-tak W viša od RTX 2070 kartica što je znak da se AMD približio učinkovitosti Nvidijine arhitekture. Istina, velika je razlika u površini jezgre, no, čisti odnos performanse/potrošnja je dosta blizak. Potvrdu toga možemo vidjeti i u slučaju usporedbe RTX 2060 i RX 5700.

AMD je za ovu seriju kartica napravio malo pametniji algoritam za upravljanje radom ventilatora pri čemu on ne dopušta nagla ubrzanja kao ranije. Ventilator se polagano ubrzava, bez stvaranja viška buke, te zapravo nikada ne odlazi u visoke okretaje. Na obje kartice uvijek ostaje na maksimumu od oko 46 % ukupnog broja okretaja. Pri tom dopušta nešto više zagrijavanje GPU-a na obje kartice, dok buka ostaje u razumnim granicama. Za RX 5700 XT smo izmjerili 42.5 dB, a za 5700 XT 41.5 dB. Čujno je to, no nije bučno ili neugodno bučno kao primjerice kod Radeona VII. Ipak, uspoređene Nitro+ Vega 56 i Gigabyteove RTX kartice ostaju puno tiše s oko 37 – 38 dB.
