AMD je vrlo ponosan što su u suradnji s Microsoftom uspjeli podići performanse procesora i u novoj verziji Windowsa 1903 (May 2019 update). Dvije su značajke u tome važne – topology awareness Windows schedulera, i UEFI CPPC2 sučelje. Prvi osigurava pravilniju upotrebu svih dostupnih jezgara na Ryzenima, tj. pravilniju alokaciju threadova u jednom CCX-u, prije migracije threadova na ostatak CCX-eva (core complex). Topology awareness neće u svemu donijeti napredak u performansama, no u određenim stvarima itekako hoće.

UEFI CPPC2 sučelje osigurava brže podizanje taktova procesora i time brže pokretanje aplikacija ili efikasnije surfanje webom.

Benefiti obje ove značajke su vidljivi u PCMark 10 testovima, ali i 7-Zip-u koji sada pravilnije koristi procesor.
