Ova kombinacija hardvera je jednostavno premoćna i rezultat je sjajan. Ništa što smo do sada testirali nije ni blizu ovoj kombinaciji, no moramo biti fer pa priznati da nismo probali jače Nvidijine kartice od RTX 3060 MaxQ.

Isto tako, Radeon RX 6800M postiže odlične rezultate u Time Spyu i u Port Royalu. Vidimo da ima i nešto bolje RayTracing performanse od desktop RTX 3060 kartice što je odličan rezultat.

U igrama je RX 6800M također odlična i framerate je vrlo visok i na ovim AAA igrama. To znači da će manje zahtjevni eSports naslovi letjeti i do 300 FPS-a koliki je refresh rate ekrana (300 Hz). Vidimo kako to izleda u videu u zadnjem testiranom naslovu The Riftbreaker gdje je s uključenim FSR-om na Quality broj sličica u sekundi prelazi i 260.

8-jezgreni AMD-ov procesor boosta sve do 4,6 GHz i konsistentan je na toj frekvenciji pa su i rezultati vrlo visoki. Iz prvog testa vidimo koliko je moćniji od Intelovoh i7-10850H koji je 6-jezgreni. Samo za usporedbu desktop procesor Ryzen 7 5800X postiže oko 6.000 bodova u ovom testu, pa je rezultat mobilne varijante tako još impresivniji. Izvrstan je i generacijski napredak koji možemo vidjeti u Blenderu u odnosu na Ryzen 7 4800H, dok se u wPrimeu i nije baš pokazao znatno bržim iz nekog razloga.

Memorijske performanse su samo prosječne kod čitanja, ispod prosječne kod zapisa i solidne kod kopiranja. Asus je ovdje koristio single rank RAM koji je nešto sporiji od double ranka zbog kojeg je izbila i sitna aferica oko Advanced programa. No, proizvođači koriste onu memoriju koja im je najdostupnija i najjeftinija. Ako želi, kupac uvijek može nadograditi na dual rank i izvući dodatne performanse (10 do 15% u igrama).

Ni Samsungov se SSD nije pretjerano iskazao performansama, pogotovo kod zapisa. Isto tako, 512 GB je danas premalo, ovakvi gamerski laptopi bi odmah trebali imati 1 TB. Srećom pa postoji drugi M.2 slot za nadogranju.

Autonomija je odlična! Preko 10 sati za ovako moćan prijenosnik je fantastičan rezultat. AMD je lijepo uskladio sve tehnologije za čuvanje energije. Naravno, ako se krenete igrati i sve resurse iskoristite tada će baterija potrajati tek sat vremena. No, čemu se igrati na bateriiji kada su performanse ionako niže.

Zagrijavanje, buka i taktovi

Kao i uvijek, testiramo s maksimalnim performansama rashladnog sustava kako bi uvtrdili najbolje performanse koje prijenosnik može dati. Maksimalni boost takt procesora u ovom prijenosniku je 4,6 GHz i dosta ga dugo zadržava na Turbo postavci u Armoury Crateu. Temperatura naraste na prihvatljivih 90 do 93°C pri čemu nema puno spuštanja takova, a GPU temperatura je na oko 81°C. Ipak, buka je dosta visokih 47 dB(A) pa će vam biti potrebne ANC slušalice da ju nadjačate i uživate u igrama. Ako želite nižu buku, Performance mod će ju spustiti na 40 dB(A) ili čak na 35 dB(A) ako odaberete Silent mod. No, tada morate biti spremni na pad performansi. Radna površina se pri maksimalnom opterećenju zagrije do oko 40°C što je toplo no prihvatljivo. Sve u svemu, Asus je dobro riješio hlađenje u ovome prijenosniku.
