Prijenosnik ima vrlo slične performanse kao i Zenbook 14X OLED kojeg smo imali prilike testirati prošle godine. Imao je nešto stariju no i dalje vrlo sposobnu platformu. Kod Zenbooka 17 Fold performanse nisu rasle, no za jedan 9-vatni procesor u vrlo tankoj šasiji su ipak solidne.

Iris Xe iz ove generacije procesora nema puno toga za dati grafički, no dovoljno je da sučelje radi glatko, te da možete pokrenuti koju grafički bezazleniju igru u trenucima dokolice.

Kao što smo napisali, i7-1250U je samo 9-vatni procesor s mogućnošću boosta do 29 W i to zapravo kratko može održavati zbog šasije u kojoj nema previše mogućnosti hlađenja. Odraz toga su i performanse koje vidimo u grafovima. Ipak, to je sasvim dovoljno za normalno funkcioniranje ovog prijenosnika.

Kapacitet od 75 Wh osigurava dobru autonomiju uređaju od preko 8 sati 4K playbacka. Naravno, ako radite nešto intenzivnije i koristite touch screen to se može i nešto smanjiti. No, u pravilu će izdržati gotovo cijeli radni dan.
Zagrijavanje, buka i taktovi
Mjesto u gornjem kutu na kojem se nalazi procesor se nešto više zagrijava pod opterećenjem no nije ništa alarmantno. Tu smo IC termometrom zabilježili do 44°C, no male su šanse da će te baš raditi intenzivan posao i držati ga u ruci. Interne sonde zabilježe brzi uspon temperature do oko 100°C pri čemu kreće spuštanje taktova i hlađenje procesora, i održavanja normalne razine performansi. Buka prijenosnika nije pretjerana čak i pri opterećenju (do oko 42 dB(A)) i općenito je užitak s njim raditi.
