Prije nego krenemo s komentarima na testove svakako trebamo objasniti da je većina testova napravljena u Standard modu i Full-Speed modu pa će te to vidjeti navedeno i razdijeljeno narančastom i crvenom bojom. U nekim testovima nismo napravili Full-Speed i to će biti naglašeno.
PCMark rezultat je sasvim solidan, čak i u Standard načinu rada gdje je procesor puno sporiji. Uz ovaj prijenosnik tako možete uživati u iznimno tihom radu i sa sasvim solidnim performansama. U Full-speed načinu rada se ventilatori zavrte brže, dopuštaju procesoru viši TDP i performanse rastu, no ne još na razinu Zenbooka S 16 koji je bio opremljen AMD-ovim Ryzenom 9 AI HX 370.
Kroz sve testove ćemo pokušati usporediti tri nove platforme, no treba imati na umu da je bazni TDP Intelovog procesora 17 W, AMD-ovog 28 W, a Snapdragona X Elite oko 23 W.

Disclaimer za početak. Iako se službeno integrirana grafika u ovom procesoru zove Intel Arc 140V GPU mi smo ju označili kao Xe2 kako bi se lakše raspoznala na grafovima. Za naglasiti je da integriranoj grafici možemo dodijeliti do 16 GB memorije, što i jesmo.
Zanimljivo je da je u Standard modu rada ventilatora Intelova Xe2 grafika tek mrvicu sporija od AMD-ove Radeon 890M grafike, pa tako omogućava i sasvim solidne igraće performanse. Kada se uključi Full-speed mod performanse dosta rastu i usporedive su s mobilnom GTX1650Ti karticom – impresivno.

benchmarku je Xe2 dosta brža od Radeona 890M. Naravno, igre će biti iznimno spore, no zanimljivo je vidjeti da Intel prednjači u ovom testu. Ovaj smo test odradili samo u Standard modu.

Mesh Shadera koja dolazi u DirectX 12 Ultimate setu. Speed Way koristi mesh shadere za optimizaciju LOD-a (Level of Detail) za svaki skup u mreži.

Ovdje se Intelov Core 7 Ultra 285V pokazao znatno sporijim od konkurentnog Snapdragon X Elite procesora, te nešto malo sporiji od Ryzena 9 AI HX 370. Zanimljivo je da Full-Speed mod ne donosi nikakvo ubrzanje.

Procyonov AI Computer Vision test koristi Intel OpenVINO (float16) runtime. Ovu brojku ćemo moći usporediti kada dobijemo druge Intel procesore na test, a za sada je ovo bio i jedini AI test koji smo mogli odraditi, jer su se drugi rušili nakon određenog vremena.

Sasvim solidan rezultat koji je ovdje u Full-speed modu dosta blizu performansi Snapdragona X Elite X1E-78-100. AMD-ov Ryzen 9 AI HX 370 ipak više bježi u multicore performansama.

U singlecore performansama je Intelov procesor brži, no Ryzen 9 AI HX 370 ipak ostaje nedodirljiv kada su u pitanju multicore performanse. Zanimljivo je da je 258V procesor već pune 4+4 x86 konfiguracije, i onaj najbrži 288V ima samo više taktove, ne i više jezgri ili jaču grafiku.

U Gooseberry benchmarku koji traje duže vidimo koliko je procesor moćniji u Full-speed modu ventilatora. Odradio je posao čak pet minuta brže i bio tek malo sporiji od X Elite procesora, dok je Ryzen 9 AI HX 370 ipak duplo brži.

WD-ov smo SN520 SSD već u puno navrata testirali pa ovdje nismo ponavljali graf. Performanse mu nisu sjajne kao kod konkurencije i postiže oko 4,6 GB/s kod linearnog čitanja. te oko 3,12 GB/s kod zapisa. Nasumične 4K performanse su malo slabije s oko 49 MB/s za čitanje i 128 MB/s za zapis.
Performanse radne memorije su jednom riječju izvrsne.

Autonomija je izvrsna i za 160 minuta duža nego kod Zenbooka S 16 s Ryzen 9 AI HX 370 procesorom. No, tu treba uzeti u obzir i da taj prijenosnik ima veći ekran. U odnosu na Vivobook S 15 koji ima Snapdragon X Elite je izdržao samo 20 minuta više s 2 Wh većom baterijom.
Zagrijavanje i buka
Standard mod
Full-speed mod
Kao što smo već ranije naglasili, prijenosnik smo pretežno testirali u tvorničkom Standard modu i u njemu su ventilatori iznimno tihi, a zagrijavanje radne površine, tj. tipkovnice je nešto više pogotovo pri vrhu. Ako poželite više performanse dva su moda – Performance i Full-speed. U potonjem buka značajno naraste i njega koristite jedino u slučaju kada baš zatrebate te dodatne performanse. Temperatura površine u tom modu minimalno naraste, jer ipak i tijelo prijenosnika preuzima veću toplinu s procesora. Zenbook S 14 ima stabilne dugotrajne performanse, i unatoč činjenici da se procesor pod opterećenjem zagrije na maksimalno zabilježenih 95,6°C. Inače, Tjmax je 100°C.
