Stari PCMark 8 voli brze Intelove procesore pa nije ni čudo što je ovdje četverojezgreni procesor brži. PCMark 10 performanse mjeri na potpuno drugačiji način i to na open source softveru, a ovdje kao što svidimo daje prednost Intelovom šest jezgrenom procesoru nad AMD-ovim 12 i 16-jezgrenim.

S obzirom na to da je i7-7800X šestojezgreni procesor s 12 logičkih jezgri po tome konkurira Ryzenu 5 1600X, no cijenom mu je ipak bliži Ryzen 7 1700X pa oba ova procesora moramo sagledati kao konkurenciju. Već prvi test 7800X procesor smješta u razinu performansi AMD-ovih osmojezgrenih modela pa je jasno kako po jednoj jezgri ima više IPC performanse što ćemo najljepše vidjeti u Cinebench testu.

Abeceda se uplela i prije Cinebencha ubacila Blender koji korsiti sve raspoložve jezgre procesora za renderiranje scene pa nije ni čudo kako su ovdje Threadripperi brži. Tek kada isprobamo Ryzen 7 1800X ili slabiji znat ćemo pravo stanje stvari.

Evo nas na spomenutom Cinebenchu koji ovaj procesor smješta ispod 1700X-a, a iznad 1600X. Razlog tome su bolje performanse po jednoj jezgri – 1600X ima oko 161 cb, a 7800X ima rezultat od 175 cb. Da je Intel jako napredovao vidljivo je iz performansi u odnosu na i7-5960X koji je 8C/16T procesor. Jest sporiji, no ipak ima prednost od četiri logičke jezgre, a nije puno brži od 7800X.

Handbrake rezultat ne ide baš u korist 7800X jer mu 1600X diše za vratom, a dosta je jeftiniji.

Ovdje je čak 7800X između 1700X i 1800X no poznato je kako ovaj test “voli” Intelove procesore pa rezultat ne čudi.
