PCMark 10 mjeri općenite performanse sistema, a 3DMark nam kombinirane performanse snage procesora i grafike. Testirali smo s novom grafičkom karticom u odnosu na prijašnje testove, pa ovdje nema starijih modela procesora, osim tri koja vidite. U PCMark testu vidimo da i9-12900K vodi, no Ryzen 9 5950X nije daleko iza njega. i9-10850K je ipak u određenom zaostatku u odnosu na oba.

Time Spy test opet daje prednost novom Intelovom procesoru, ali sada za ipak primjetniju prednost. Za kraj smo izvrtili i novi CPU profile test iz 3DMarka i tu vidimo nešto manju prednost za novi Intelov procesor.

AIDA64 testovi pokazuju performanse u enkripciji i Ray-tracingu, a vidimo da su rezultati miješani. U AES testu Ryzen ima veliku prednost, a u SHA3 se prednost smanjuje. Kod Ray-tracing performansi je situacija čudna jer je 12900K procesor na posljednjem mjestu u oba testa, a rezultati su slični i na Win 10 i na 11.

Za početak, uobičajeni prvi test, 7-Zip smo izbacili iz ove usporedbe jer daje loš rezultat na Windowsima 10, dok je na Windowsima 11 tek malo ispod Ryzena 9 5950X.

Blender benchmark, odnosno zadatak renderiranja BMW slike je i9-12900K rasturio i odradio najbrže od uspoređenih procesora.

U Cinebenchu R20 i9-12900K jednostavno rastura i ne mari za operativni sustav. Ovakav rezultat ili vrlo sličan izbacuje i u Win 11 i u 10. Intel je sa svim arhitekturalnim promjenama IPC digao na jedan sasvim novi nivo i značajno pobjegao AMD-u, pa je to rezultiralo i visokim performansama na svim jezgrama, tj. sva 24 raspoloživa threada.

Napravili smo testiranje i novog Cinebench R23 benchmarka i vidimo da je i ovdje 12900K najbrži – gotovo duplo u odnosu na 10850K!

Corona Renderer je fotorealistični renderer dostupan za Autodeskov 3ds Max ili kao standalone CLI aplikacija. Razvija se i verzija za Maxon Cinemu 4D. Dostupan je i benchmark koji automatski renderira scenu i izbacuje rezultat u sekundama, te u Rays/sec.

U ovom testu je i9-12900K ipak malo zaostao iza 5950X-a, ali i 5900X-a.

Handbrake je jedan od onih testova koji ne barata najbolje s viškom jezgara, a pogotovo s ovakvom novom arhitekturom, pa je i rezultat ovakav kakav je. Ovdje je smješten samo radi toga da oni koji koriste ovaj program kako bi dobili uvid u performanse.

JetStream 2 je browser benchmark koji se fokusira na web aplikacije, koji kombinira JavaScript i Web Assembly benchmarke koji pokrivaju različite napredne poslove i tehnike programiranja te izbacuje rezultat na temelju toga. Veći broj znači bolje performanse, a 12900K je postigao najveći broj od ostatka društva.

V-Ray Benchmark je proizvod ChaosGroup-a koji je stand-alone aplikacija za mjerenje performansi procesora i grafike u renderiranju. Dostupan je za 3ds Max, Mayu, Cinemu 4D, Blender, SketchUp itd.

Testirali smo s najnovijom verzijom ovoga benchmarka pa je procesora manje, a vidimo da su 12900K i 5950X izjednačeni.

Na kraju dolazimo do wPrime 32M testa u kojem je mnoštvo procesora za usporedbu, a 12900K je postigao malo slabiji rezultat od Ryzena 9 5950X-a, te nešto bolji od 5900X-a.

Generalni dojam je da je procesor iznimno brz i vjerojatno će se još ubrzati s vremenom kada i aplikacije i operativni sistemi počnu bolje koristiti njegov potencijal. Posebno impresivne su single thread performanse novih P jezgri.
