Overclocking je donio solidne pomake u performansama za razliku od 12900K koji nije bio ovako “raspoložen”. Lijepo je vidjeti da je slabiji procesor zabavan za korištenje i tjuniranje.

Propusnost DDR5 memorije je visoka, a između dva uspoređena procesora i9 je ipak ostvario nešto bolje rezultate.

Potrošnja sistema je mjerena s OCCT-ovim large testom kao i kod ostalih procesora. i5-12600K nije veliki potrošač kao i9-12900K, no u odnosu na AMD procesore ipak jest – troši pod opterećenjem kao i Ryzen 9 5950X! Intel više jednostavno nije efikasan kao ranije i to moramo prihvatiti. Još jedno priznanje AMD Zen 3 arhitekturi!

Jasno, puno niža potrošnja od i9-12900K rezultira i niskim zagrijavanjem pa je maksimalna temperatura na jednoj od jezgri 12600K procesora bila “samo” 65°C.
