Potrošnja sistema je općenito niska, i to vidimo za koliko niža kada je u pitanju RX590. Direktan je to dobitak s prijelazom na 7-nanometarski proizvodni proces koji je učinkovitiji, pa donosi vrlo slične performanse uz 60 W manju potrošnju sistema. Odlično, no još nije na razini konkurencije i GTX 1660 Ti kartica koje su brže, a troše jednako.

Zagrijavanje grafičkog proceosra na Sapphire kartici ide do 66°C, uz izmjereni maksimalni hotspot od 79°C. Hotspot je maksimalna zabilježena temperatura na jednom od internih senzora unutar GPU jezgre. GPU na PowerColor kartici je dosegnuo maksimalnih 59°C, uz maksimalni hotspot od 77°C. Ventilator na Red Dragon kartici se vrti na višim okretajima pa je i temperatura niža.

Kod Sapphire kartice ventilatori pravilu rade na ispod 1.000 okretaja u minuti (800 – 950), s povremenim maksimumom na 1.200 okretaja i vrlo su tihi s izmjerenih tek oko 35 dBA. Kod overclockinga se ventilatori ubrzaju i do 1.900 okretaja pri čemu buka ponešto naraste no ne prelazi 40 dB, a porast performansi je ipak značajan kao što smo vidjeli.

Na PowerColor kartici se ventialtori pod opterećenjem vrte na viših 1.400 okretaja pa je i buka malo veća s 36 dBA. Kod overclockinga se ventilatori automatski zavrte i do 1.900 okretaja, pa i buka naraste na oko 40 dB no to je i dalje prihvatljivo.
