Overclocking je kao što vidimo donio odlične pomake u performansama za oba procesora. Kod slabijeg je procesora oko 300 MHz više u radu donijelo oko 4% veće performanse, a kod jačeg procesora je porast bio još veći s prosječnih 7,7 % porasta performansi.

Oba procesora pokazuju izvrsne grafičke performanse u svim naslovima osim jednom, Godfall je podbačaj no razlog može biti i grafički driver. U svakom slučaju, pokazali su da mogu parirati najbržim Intelovim procesorima, a moramo podsjetiti da su ovi rezulati dobiveni prije nego je Intel izbacio nove BIOS-e i uveo restrikcije na performanse. Naravno, nije ni 7700X još za (od)baciti, i on pokazuje sasvim respektabilne brojke, koje su u nekim slučajevima i malo bolje.

Potrošnja sistema je slična kod oba procesora što je jako zanimljivo. Slabijem modelu očito treba malo više napona kako bi izvukao maksimum, premda se na kraju nešto manje zagrijava.

Kao što vidimo iz priloženog, novi je proizvodni proces i malo drugačija kontrola performansi rezultirala nižim zagrijavanjem od prethodne serije. Sve ovo je i rezultiralo solidnom overclocking potencijalu.
