Speed Way test koristi novu tehniku Mesh Shadera koja dolazi u DirectX 12 Ultimate setu. Speed Way koristi mesh shadere za optimizaciju LOD-a (Level of Detail) za svaki skup u mreži.

I ovom testu je i RTX 5080 vodeća, sasvim logično.

Prvi DLSS4 test dana koji smo proveli stvarno pokazuje kako x4 multi-frame generation, tj. postupak u kojem za svaku standardno renderiranu sličicu AI napravi tri dodatne, donosi veliki skok u performansama koji je u našim mjerenjima iznosio 5,28 puta! Nije x8 kako Nvidia obećava, ali to ovisi od slučaja do slučaja. No, bilo kako bilo, ovdje stvarno možete zaposliti taj svoj 4K@240Hz monitor do krajnjih granica.

Kada novu karticu usporedimo sa starom, vidimo da je bez uključenog DLSS-a stara sporija, no s x2 frame generationom je čak nešto brža! Naravno, RTX 4080 ne podržava x3 i x4 modove, pa je na kraju ipak sporija.

Započinjemo s čistim raster perfromansama u COH-u 3 koji ni ne podržava Ray Tracing. Ovdje u 4K rezoluciji vidimo da je RTX 5080 samo za oko 6,4% brža od RTX 4080 Super, što je zapravo i očekivano prema onome koliko CUDA jezgri novi GB202 čip ima i na kojem taktu radi.

U čistim raster performansama u nižoj i u višoj rezoluciji je razlika između RTX 4080 Super i RTX 5080 slična i iznosi oko 14%.

S uključenim Ray Tracingom RTX 5080 postiže impresivne performanse koje svakako nadvladavaju svu ostalu konkurenciju, a u odnosu na RTX 4080 je brža za oko 20%.

Kada Ray Tracingu dodamo i Path Tracing razlika u performansama je 19%, no ni jedna kartica zapravo ne donosi naročite igrive performanse.

Čisti Ray Tracing bez Path tracinga i starija DLSS 3 tehnologija rezultiraju lijepim porastom performansi kod svih kartica, no ono što nas najviše zanima je ipak DLSS4 koji radi samo na novoj seriji kartica.

Kada u cijelu priču umješamo novi DLSS4 koji je party piece RTX 50 serije vidimo da performanse drastično rastu s DLSS4 x4 i to za oko 6x. Opet, nije 8x po obećanju, ali je odličan porast. Vidimo da su performanse iznimno visoke i na 4K rezoluciji u drugom grafu.

DXR Path Tracing + DLSS4 x4 (Quality)

Kada uključimo i Path tracing povrh Ray Tracinga vidimo da je porast performansi visok i iznosi oko 4,6x, a visoke performanse se zadržavaju i kada prijeđemo na višu, 4K rezoluciju.

Do sada nismo ništa još rekli o kvaliteti slike, no dok god DLSS držimo na Quality postavci (ili u nekim igrama na Ultra Quality), degradacije slike nema, ona ostaje izvrsna i nema razlike u odnosu na originalnu rezoluciju!

Kad uključimo Ray Tracing, razlika u porastu performansi se gotovo podupla i RTX 5080 je za oko 15,7% brža od RTX 4080 Super. Nova kartica ima poboljšane RT jezgre, pa ovo ne treba čuditi, a ni njoj suditi po čistim raster performansama.

Hogwarts Legacy je sad već dvije godine stara igra, no dobila je DLSS4 podršku i zanimljiva je za testiranje porasta performansi. Vidimo da za ovu karticu standardno nije zahtjevna na 1440p rezoluciji, čak ni s uključenim Ray Tracingom no prave se stvari počinju dešavati kada uključimo DLSS4. Na DLSS4 x2 je porast oko 1,8x, a kod DLSS4 x4 oko 3,05x. Vidimo da to nije onako kako je Nvidia najavila (8x), no sasvim je korektno. Nažalost, i ovdje uključivanje DLSS-a izaziva dosta stutteringa.

Još jedan iz stare garde benchmarka, tj. starija igra koja prikazuje čiste raster performanse. Zanimljiva nam je za još malo usporedbe RTX 4080 vs. RTX 5080, te vidimo kako je ovdje potonja brža za oko 14,1%.

Marvel Rivals

Marvel Rivals je pucačina iz trećeg lica, i ono najbitnije besplatna je. Ne podržava Ray Tracing, ali joj je dodana podrška za DLSS4 pa i ovdje možemo provjeriti Nvidijine tvrdnje. Ovdje je porast s DLSS4 x4 samo oko 2,53x no ni to na kraju nije loše.
