Overclocking je značio porast takta sa 4,7 GHz na 5,1 GHz pri čemu su naravno sve jezgre bile pod opterećenjem. Donijelo je to kao što vidimo i lijep porast ukupnih performansi, a potrošnja je pri tome skočila sa 183 W na 230 W.

Potrošnja sistema je 183 W pri čemu Ryzen 7 3800XT troši samo 10 W više. Ove brojke ponajprije govore o učinkovitosti kojom rade novi AMD procesori (3800XT je nerijetko brži u multithreadingu) i napredak koji su postigli u iznimno kratkom vremenu. Ne zaboravimo, Core procesori se usavršavaju puno duže od Ryzena.

Maksimalna temperatura na jednoj jezgri nakon opterećenja OCCT-ovim Large Data testom iznosi 71°C, a prosjek na svima je 66,4°C. Ovdje je teško uspoređivati dva konkurenta jer Ryzeni drugačije mjere temperaturu od Core procesora, no ono što smo primijetili je da su površinske temperature Noctue D15 vrlo slične.
