Potrošnja sistema je mjerena s OCCT-ovim large testom kao i kod ostalih procesora. No, ona je zapravo još i konzervativna, jer primjerice u Cinebench 20 nT testu procesor, odnosno sistem proguta i preko 330 W iz utičnice. Performanse dakle ne dolaze bez penala, u ovom je slučaju to potrošnja. 14-nanometarski proces je ovdje nategnut do kranjih granica.

Uz veliku potrošnju dolazi i više zagrijavanje pa je potrebno i dobro hlađenje za ovaj procesor. Opet navodimo i prosjeke maksimalnih temperatura na svih deset jezgri koji su bolji pokazatelj od samo vršne na jednoj jezgri – ENKI 360 je postigao prosjek od 72,3°C, Gigabyteov hladnjak bio na 73,8°C, a Noctuin na 77°C.
