I kako to zna bivati, pokazalo se da u praksi ispadaju drugačiji rezultati od onih koje smo dobili testiranjem sa sintetičkim benchmarkovima. Naime ATI- jev X1800XL pokazuje se nešto bržom karticom te pobjeđuje i pri korištenju naprednih AA algoritama (Adaptive AA). Razlika u performansama se povećava kako raste rezolucija što svejedoći o prilično visokoj efikasnosti arhitekture novog ATI-jevog čipa.
