Overclocking je donio određene pomake za oba procesora, no 9950X je napredovao nešto više u prosjeku – 6,61%. Kod 9900X kojeg smo ručno overclockirali jer nije htio na PBO 90 Level 3 kao 9950X je prosječan dobitak bio nešto manjih 4,97%. Nije sjajno, no ako im damo više od 1,25 V napona procesori se jako zagrijavaju – do 110°C i nema ih smisla toliko tjerati.

Oba procesora pokazuju jako dobre performanse, a opet su oba podbacila u Godfallu iz nepoznatog razloga. Inteli ovdje izvlače malo veće performanse. Nema tu ogromnih razlika da bi mogli bilo kojeg ne preporučiti za gaming no jasno je da 9950X ili 9900X nećete kupovati isključivo za gaming, ako nemate potrebe za snažnim ostalim performansama. Za gaming će sasvim dovoljan biti i 9600X.

Potrošnja sistema se nije značajnije mijenjala između 7900X i 9900X, a potonji troši oko 4,4%. S obzirom na to da je malo brži, možemo reći kako je efikasnost Zen 5 arhitekture ipak nešto bolja u odnosu na Zen 4. Ista je situacija i kod 9950X koji vršno troši oko 8,8% manje. Brži je u odnosu na 7950X, pa je s time i efikasniji.

Zagrijavanje 16-jezgrenog procesora je vrlo visoko, i zapravo slično modelu kojeg zamjenjuje. S te strane nema većih promjena. 9900X pak se manje zagrijava i tu smo otprilike na razini 7950X3D modela.
